Here's some Titan wheels for reference. They weigh 29lbs each.

Is it safe to run a 305 on an 8" wheel? Toyo recommends 285mm maximum with 8" wide wheels.

No worries. The front 275s fit square on the wheels, 285s would be very close also. If you are going to run a shorter sidewall than 60% then I would stick with the narrower width.

DON'T RUN 305 ON A 8" TIRE!!!!! I crashed my truck five times with them on!!!!!!
