1996 GMC Yukon 4l60e replacement
My dad has 96 yukon with 60e and np243 t case
He is thinking that the t case caused the trans to start slipping
It is a push button t case
When pushed into 4HI it started gringing and clunking
It is a 1 piece trans
It has a stock 5.7 with 3.73 rear
Just looking for stock/mild replacement (towing)
Should we be concerned of the np243 case? If so should I get it rebuilt or new?
Where is the best place to purchase/rebuild a 60e and t case?
Would like to have a decent warranty too
