1st gear hard shift?
#12
ok, checked the trans fluid.... had some but i added some lucas hi-performance trans fix stuff, (to stop the hard shift) then i added more trans fluid on top of that (half a bottle). it didnt stop it but i calmed it down mor than what it was.
i took the ram air pipes off, cleaned the filter and MAF screen and its still doing it a lil bit (i didn't put the ram air back on... just the box is on)
still dumbfounded guys..... is the trans bout to take a **** on me?

I'd start there. Mine did a hard shift as you describe just as I was getting homje from a 1300 mile trip. I was gunning outta the toll booth on 53 in Illinois. This was B4 I knew anything about tuning or HP Tuners for that matter. Anyways- gunning outta the toll booth and shift into 2nd I got a healthy shove into the seat as I had never experienced B4. Well I never did get to it, to be honest with ya, and it has mellowed out since; as a mater of fact I never did get a healthy shift quite like that again. It was notably firm for awhile, then it seemed to have recovered. I just turned the clock at 1,000,000 miles and I'm lookin' to install a transgo kit and some sonnax servos........................
