Whats your definition of hard? Throws you back in your seat hard or...?

Mines had a firm 1-2 shift since the day I bought it.

I'd start there. Mine did a hard shift as you describe just as I was getting homje from a 1300 mile trip. I was gunning outta the toll booth on 53 in Illinois. This was B4 I knew anything about tuning or HP Tuners for that matter. Anyways- gunning outta the toll booth and shift into 2nd I got a healthy shove into the seat as I had never experienced B4. Well I never did get to it, to be honest with ya, and it has mellowed out since; as a mater of fact I never did get a healthy shift quite like that again. It was notably firm for awhile, then it seemed to have recovered. I just turned the clock at 1,000,000 miles and I'm lookin' to install a transgo kit and some sonnax servos........................
