Exclamation 2-inch rear drop -- options

(i did a search, and did not find what I needed...truck specs in signature)

I want to drop the rear of my truck 2 inches. What are my options and the pros/cons of those options? I want to keep my factory ride quality, and am willing to spend extra to do so. I rarely haul anything in the bed, too.

Before you say, "you need a 2/4, 3/5, 4/6, 5/7, 17/18 drop" or whatever, I am not interested. I am going for a mildly aggressive stock look, and a 2-inch rear drop is all I want to do.

I have NO experience with suspension mods, so go easy on me.

Thanks, guys.

I wanted the same thing, so I went with DJM shackel kit, dropped it about 2" but the rear is still a little higher

Beltech 6400 Shackles, very inexpensive and very easy install.

Instructions for install can be found at the link below.

Best of luck and post some pics up for others to see once you're done.

Like everyone else said, a set of 2" shackles will do the trick.

1. What's the best brand to buy?
2. Where's the best place to buy them?
3. What's a decent price?

I see them for sale on here quite a bit, but I wouldn't know what to look for or if something is a rip-off.

I have Belltech drop shackles. They have holes for stock, 1" drop, or a 2" drop... very good quality... I think I paid $50 through Summit Racing or Jeg's...
