Regency have you had the axles checked for straightness?

nope but ive been wondering the same thing. some racers around here said its not likely but i told them anythings possible with the 10 bolt..lol Sometime soon ill tear it all back down and take the whole diff out from under the truck, and go over every inch of it.

I never used suggested markings on the pinion to set it.It's a good starting point though.
I use the marking compound and the gear pattern that tells me where to set the pinion.
Been doing it for 10 plus years with great results.

If you take it appart again,use the gear pattern.But as somebody else wrote,It may be too late,as the current gear pattern might have damage the gear allready.

From experience,the most popular pinion shim for the 10 bolt would be in the range of 0.037-0.041.
