I remember people talking about these guys a lot. Might check them out. It's not Houston but maybe worth looking into.

Hell, there's an '01 Tahoe here in Alvin that I've been pulling off of, and I know the DS is still there.
I'd come get it if I was you, and bring it to CT to have it balanced for $75, add a new carrier bearing for $85ish from CT, and put the other new parts on it too...
