why would you want to run one? it's weaker and more parts to pay for/wear out. bad driveshaft angles? cab clearence?

No one? Have you talked to Denny's? Or there's a bunch of guys. You may have to settle for steel though. But eh, so what IMO. What's the length you need?

But to help your thread I did go two piece but didn't like it cuz i thought I had a vibration from it. Turns out I was wrong. I am sorry, I took lots of pics of things over the years but all I can find on the two piece is the two piece when I brought it home. Not installed or fabbed up.

Did you try Driveshaft Specialties of Texas in San Antonio? They are awesome to deal with and built my 5" HD aluminum shaft high speed balanced and all....my 08 is an Extended Cab as well.

Yah i talked to them and he said even if he built a 5in he cant guarantee it will last bc of the 4.10s. bc its only rated to 5500 rpm at that length. what was the length of yours?

I don't get it... How come these driveshaft specialists won't make these long driveahafts when the NNBS trucks are coming with 1-piece shafts from the factory...

Exactly what im saying i emailed multiple companies and they dont do them that length in one piece. seems like they would. but this also isnt a problem on a single cab or a crew cab bc the driveshaft is shorter
