yea, I am pretty excited. I mean my 3/4 ton engine needs to match with a 3/4 ton tranny! Plus the trans will already be ready when I add another 130hp to the motor.

nelson performance has all the 60 to 80 harness adaptors you need for a swap.....contact info is to the right.

thanks for that info, but couldnt find it on their website. I may have to call them, or fab some wires myself. Im not scared about that part. I found a member that has a xmember for me so thats good. I just need the slip yoke and to do the wires now. My converter should be getting built on Tue or Wed.

News on the 60e failure is still waiting to be found out, but the trans guy said I broke hard parts. I have a few pics to share of my swap, I will take pictures as I go. The cleaner trans is the 80e. Weighs a good bit more, and is a solid unit, almost lineup just like the 60e.. I was confident my driveshaft will work with it.

I built my trans with everything from shafts to blue clutches throughout....and I broke mine two weeks ago. Guess it didnt like the 50 shot on top of 13lbs of boost
