The rotor diameter was increased. I believe by a 1" larger diameter increase to 13" total.
Of course we also got the $hitty rear drum brakes. If you ever feel a pulsation when coming to a stop, it's the rear drums! The metal material is of low quality and they tend to warp very very easily.
The pulsation will change from time to time. Sometimes bad and sometimes just slightly noticeable.
I hate them.

I believe your right. I couldn't remember what they use to be.
I just knew they increased the rotor diameter by 1" over the 04' GM trucks.

Yeah, that's why they went to the 17" wheels too, 16's wont quite fit.

I'm sure they beefed up the caliper a bit. The caliper bracket is different as well. The spindle should not be an issue being it's a hub bearing assembly.

I know the new ones are twin piston PBR calipers. Not sure about the old ones.
