hey guys i bought this truck new in o7.i hacve clocked 18000 miles since then. about half of them have been rough.. so recently i have put on a 8 foot mm2 fisher hd plow and i know its not rated for it but if you do the math on the front gvw its can handle the plow.so here my problem i had to drive with the plow the other night on the free way and it did not over heat the tranny reached 209 and the motor stayed within the fans range..but since last friday night when i put in reverse i make sure its in..its like it jumps out and makes this hidious like clicking slash grinding sound even if i through it in nuetral fast it still makes this sound.. i checked the fluid and i checked for a leak or anything broken cable loose clamp and i got nothing.. is there something im missing or is this sound the end of the 4l70 tranny? i know its under warranty but why bother if there just gonna rebuild it wear again? right.. thanks tony c

has anybody had this problem with there vortec max or similar 4l70e transmission???? its doing it more often now but wont do it at the dealership.
