Ive found a read end from a 3/4 ton for next to nothing 200$ out of a freinds totalled truck. Was curios if this would fit in my 1/2 ton. Ill buy it just to buy it but would think it would be a whole lot stronger then my 1/2 ton rear end. Any ideas.

I believe the leaf perches have the same spacing. You will need an adpter u joint for the yoke, maybe have to shorten the driveshaft. I have an Eaton LSD for a full floater if you pick it up.

Aren't the HD axles 8 lug?

They are 8 lug but there is a FF 6 lug conversion kit.
