I don't understand what you are asking? I believe the long TH400 yoke is longer than the 2500 yoke.

Do you have the regular slip yoke style that just slides over the output shaft? Assuming so. My 96 model 4L80E has the style where the yoke is actually secured to the output shaft by a bolt in the center. I'm not sure what options I have there.

From what I can understand you have the yoke from the 2500 that the transmission came from? If so you should be able to just use it and a conversion joint. As far as the turbo 400 yokes being the same, I don't know but I would like to find out. Will be so much easier to find one from a plentiful turbo 400 then the scarce 4L80E for my application.

The fixed yoke is meant to be used with a 2pc driveshaft where a slip joint is in the middle. The fixed yokes are pretty short so if you are going to get a new 1pc shaft built tell the shop to get a standard slip yoke so you have enough splines engaged.

I figured that was the case since this trans came from an extended cab long bed truck. I to have the two piece steel shaft and would just assume reuse it. Appears like it will work with one conversion joint in the very front. Any idea if the Turbo 400's with a two piece shaft used this same type of bolt on yoke? Honestly it looks almost exactly like a say 14 bolt SF yoke.
