Default 275/55/20 tire on a 2/4?

I bought 20" Tahoe take offs and new 275/55/20 tires not long ago.

Wanting to do a 2/4 drop on the truck and wondering if I can run these tires with it....

Mine has a 2/3 and I am running 285/50-20 and used to have 275/55-20 and never had any issues with either. But then again I have a different model truck as you know. I would think they would work fine.

Popular tire and drop. You'll be fine.

any lower than 2/4, you're gonna need a shorter tire. $5 says you'll want to go lower once you do the 2/4.

I ran 275/55/20s on a 2/5. went to 275/45/20 before I did the 4/6. Most people will say that you need a 275/40/20 for a 4/6 but I have no rubbing problems at all, never.

I had a 4/6 on my Lightning.

I am trying to keep from going that low again, lol.

im running a 2/4 on my SSS with 305/50-20s and they only rub slightly at full lock. Before i bought the 305's i was running 275/55's and had no problems at all.

You should be fine. Once you need tires again I would probably go 275/45 or 295/45. I had 275/45 on my 2/4 and they were perfect.
