FWIW I have 285/60/17's on my truck.

What rims do you have? what is the rim width?

Damn Blue, I'm going the same route with the Burb. I won't have mine for a couple months but if you do the size upgrade let me know how it turns out

I just had installed some Nitto Grappler 295x70x17's on my 2005 GMC sierra 4x4 Z71, they had to tighten the torsion bars to raise the truck and re-align the front end but they did fit, the only issue is with the left front, the tire just rubbed the inner fender well Plastic liner on the aft inboard side when you turned the wheel hard to the left, they fixed that by drilling a hole and using a tie wrap to secure the plastic wheel well liner out of the way.

Buy the way these were mounted on 17x8 chrome Python wheels.
