Default 2in drop springs and tires.

I would like to put some 2in drop springs in the front on my 00' rcsb. I have 22'' rims and currently run 305/40/22 tires. What would have to be done or what size tire should I switch to? Thanks

i only have 20" but i have a 4/6 drop and i was running 275/45/20 and didnt rub but i did bottom out on bad dips in the road at high speeds. i just switched to a 275/40. with only goin 2in drop im sure you would be fine. could do some math and see about tire sizes.

Thanks, I have a little more time with the tires I have now but in a month or 2 I will need new ones. I was thinking Nitto's. I have a little rub with current tires. Stock front and 2'' drop shackles rear is current setup. Since I am doing a 6.0 swap I wonder if the added weight will affect the drop springs to hang more?

you will probably have to drop down to a 285/45/22, my 305's rub a little now on my truck and it's about an inch lower than stock. It's just on the very edge of the tread, but you can hear it and see where it's eaten off the corner of the tread.
