Default 2wd 4l60e to 4wd

Since I have a good transmission from 2006 Silverado 2 wd. I kept in garage. Now I got 2003 gmc sierra truck 4x4 5.3 the transmission sometimes jerk little harsh shift from first to second gear. Maybe because of high miles. Its 271,000 on it. I wonder if I can use 2006 one that is 2wd but can use my 03 gmc 4x4 adapter that can mount with the transfer case. It will work fit ok?

No, the output shaft is a different length.

Whole transmission guts need to be removed to change the shaft.

It could be anything.

A broken spring, a worn valve body plate with a sticking check valve, A sticky valve in the valve body... Its also possible someone put a tune on it with high line pressure or something.
