Default 2wd to 4wd?

Probably a really stupid question and very costly....but i have an 06 dmax 2wd and i wanted a 4wd but at the time i bought it, the deals weren't right...SO im wondering how or where could i find info or go about converting it to a 4wd?

Thanks

I know the answer is to trade it in...haha but any other options?

the front end of the frame is totally different on 1/2 tons but since you a dmax or HD you must have the torsion bar front end, so in reality you just need the 4wd component, transfer case, tranny, driveshafts front diff, hubs, halfshafts, controls and not sure if you need anything for the computer.

so i would need a whole new tranny? Or is there like a block off plate on the stock one or does the transfer case power off the rear driveshaft output on the tranny?

You would need a new output shaft and tail housing.
