Default 2wd trans vs awd trans

my truck is a 2wd with a 60e,i found a 65e out of an awd ss. the question is can it work in my truck without changing the output shaft.

Unfortunately no, the output shaft must be changed, just like a 4x4, and to change the output shaft, the whole trans must be torn down.
