Default 3/4 or 4/6 drop

I either want to install a drop kit or get some 20's on after my intake and muffler is installed. but i have a few questions about wether I should go with a 3/4 or 4/6 drop... its an 06 reg cab that i usually just drive to school and work. I think the only thing im worried about with the 4/6 drop is if the c-notch will void my warrenty, does anybody know exactly if it'll void the whole warrenty or whats the deal behind it? also wanted to know if a c-notch would be needed on a 3/4 drop?

I have a Mcgaughys 3/5 on my 05 cc and it does not void the warranty.I actually talked with the head tech at the local dealership and he said I was doing it the right way so there wasnt a problem. It may void the warranty only on certain items such as balljoints or ujoints if they wear prematurely due to the drop.Thats what he said anyway. Before you drop it make sure you get the torque specs for the balljoints and other items you will be unbolting.I hope this helps.

Its gonna void your suspension part, but if you'e planing on keeping the truck for a while I'll get the 4/6 and get over with it.

If your're that worried just do it after 36K miles and then you wont feel guilty.

I would go with a 4/6 drop if you don't plan on using your truck for towing or hauling.
