Default 3.73's to 4.10's your thoughts?

Just a few questions for people that went from 3.73's to 4.10's.

- what was your rpm increase at cruising speeds? (5.3 auto)
- what were your track gains from gear change alone?
- are 2wd and 4wd carriers the same on the half tons? (I can only assume the 4wd is larger)

thanks.

so, for those that are still planning a gear swap (myself) from 3.73 to x.xx, would you guys rather recommend a 4.30 or 4.56 gear? im wondering if 4.56 would be a little TOO far... but i dont wanna put 4.10 in and be disappointed... keep in mind im runnin a 5-speed manual.

i could only imagine what it would feel like with 4.56's behind a 5 speed. i might would do a 4.30

well, im also thinkin long-term down the road stuff too... i plan to put a T56 in, and from what ive read, 4.56 is the PERFECT gear behind the T56. I'm so torn!!!!

I noticed a difference in mine when I went from 3.73's to 4.10's. Particularly cruising around town.
