Mine brake stalled 3200 all day long with a stock 5.3/60e an 3:42s on street tires.

Mine flashes to 3600 just fine, it's just heavier then an SS model. It has the same lock up clutch that is in the 4l80e version. I bought it cause the silverado was my only truck and I still wanted to pull my boat and dirt scoots with it.

The 3200 would work fine for the op, I am running one with a cam slightly bigger than his. I dd my truck close to 40 miles a day. However, as mentioned, the 3600 will hit harder and b more fun.

Thanks for the reply's, 3600 is what I will be going with. What is to be expected going from my current stall to a 3600, as far as performance?

Wanting more fun out of it from a dig.

Yea the 3600 will perform a lot better than the 3200...but it will also daily drive a lot different. If you're wlling to deal with it feeling much looser around town then by all means go with the 3600, you'll love it.
