3600 stall too much?
I'll be ordering a converter next, and have been told that tc's are like gears where people are afraid of going too far, but when they get it in wish they would've gotten more. The cam I'll be installing is a TR220 112LSA. I was thinking a 3200 would be perfect, but was recently informed that a 3400-3600 would be a little more beneficial and would actually brake stall closer to 3200.
What do you guys think? and would it be ok to install the converter even before the cam goes in and be streetable?

I have a TR220 in my 04 ECSB and i just put a yank pt 3200 in her. The stall does great but if you peddle it then mash on it you really feel the cam come to life at about 4 grand then you are just planted at 4500 like no tomorrow.
Basically if this truck was a RCSB and i had the same cam i'd roll the Yank 3600.
But since i'm a bit heavier the 3200 works great for me.
All in all a 3600 stall is very streetable and if it were me i'd run the 3600. If you get a 3200 in the RCSB your gonna wish you had those extra rpms for launch and shift extentions.
Also you can run that stall without a cam just fine. IMO the stock cam needs a 3600 stall so it won't be such a dog on take off.

Anything over 1/4 quickly is useless in first gear lol.
No track runs yet but i'm thinking 12's won't be very hard with this new setup.
2200-2300 seems a little low though. Break stalling mine it starts to spin at about 2600rpms for me just to have a basis to go by and mine should be a 400rpm less converter so ya thats a tight little hooker.
