I just finished puting the trany in. Was there any torque specs I was suposed to follow? tc bolts, bell housing bolts, 4x4 adapter bolts? I didn't use lock tight, just reefed on them nice and tight, was this a mistake?

 

I've never torqued any of them to spec. Don't know that you could even get a torque wrench on the TC bolts. Just to what felt good and had no issues.

 

how bout locktite?

 

I have used loctite on the verter bolts the last 2 or 3 times I had the tranny out. Never before that.

Hahaha yeah, me and many others here have had lots of practice with transmission swaps. I've lost count. 5 or 6 times for various reasons.
