my last pass would have been a 12.9x pass but the tuck bump shifted so hard it fell on its face then chirped 2nd gear. the converter will get me 12s but i want more than a 12.9x pass now. i have the itch for a 12.5 or lower pass.

daryn, he does but its like a 27" tire or so. plus he has a different lug pattern so its not worth the dismount remount fee id pay.

im going to break the exhaust loose at the flex pipe and see if open eaders will help me or hurt me. bc if it helps me ill probably run dual cut outs with a custom Y pipe and it'll help even more. we'll see i guess.

Skeet your 11.02 pass makes me wanna go faster lol! but i want a descent DD outta it too...its the family ride so im not too sure on 4:56s being the best gear for a road trip. i get 19-20mpg now and i can live with that. my 01 got 18ish and was slower than hell.

skeet what rpm did you run on the street at 70 with 4:56s or did you jump straight to your gears you have now?

IIRC i was at 2450-2500 with the 4:56s right now with the gearing i have now i am at 2750 at 70

i know what ya mean, its a tough call concidering if youre really wanting to reach a goal, tire size and gear ratio can fix that for daily street use ..

Definately go to 4.56, and run a big tire on the street 30"+, that way your RPM can stay lower on your trips
