well ive been thinkin bout swapin out the gears in my truck.has anyone swaped the front diff gears before,and how much did it cost ya??? also how much are you guys payin for rear swaps.

I paid $1000 for front and rear swap and synthetic lube, not including the cost of the diff.

ive been lookin at gear sets and they all seem to run rite at $500.ill be pricing install's tomorrow.where in C.A. did you have your set installed trever??

Mike at "rear-end specialties" in Santa Clara is the very best around. The price I paid included the gearsets.

dang thats a heck of a deal!!! i was checkin with the dealer and they want $600 for just the rear .

where you doing the installation at? south indiana or victoria? if you do it in texas go with axist6 for everything, including the parts.

he did my front and rear/truetrac with 4.10's and a simply flawless install.

im in tx rite now.so ill be lookin around houston area.what gears did you go with(brand)?are they loud?how much was it?

Trutrac is the only way to go, I have genuine G-2 gears in the Blazer and they are awesome....Richmond have always been great gears too....
