Is 4.11/4.10 a goog highway gear??
Need to know if 4.11s will be a good hwy gear for hwy rolls? And crusing 75-85mph. Truck is my Tahoe with 265 50 20. Just switched my big meats off so I need to regear the truck from my 4.88s now.
I need alot of hwy punch cause I remember with my 60e and 3.73s that thing was nice on a hwy punch.
Now I have a 80e so I need the right gear to have that same punch and I'm thinking 4.11s?
What type of top speed maybe able to acheive with this gear setup?

I was on the fence about 4.10's, so I went with 3.90's and I'm on 265/50/20's like you. Haven't gotten them installed yet, but according to the calculator RPM should be just under 2200 at 70mph. I have a 4L65e though, not sure if the final drive ratios are different.

So I have a set of 3.73s will those be what I want with the 80e? I don't plan on changing from these tires. So I think the 3.73s may be better on the highway as well as pulling power on the highway will 3.73s perform better than 4.11? As far as accelerate faster?? I don't tow that often if any. I'm just making my truck back more daily. It's a bit heavy been a Tahoe.

My 4.10's pull nice on the highway. I cruise at 70 with rpm at 2200 with 30" tires. That's right about my lil 4.8 starts to make it's power. My mpg is at 18 for overall driving.
