I have 4.56 with my 6.0 and its a blast to drive on the street. I cut 2.1 60' all day long at the track with my 32.5" tires.

O'yea, are you racing or are you driving to work? Is it really worth gaining a tenth or two for a loss of fuel mileage or long term dependability? For some it is, but thats a question you have to answer.
There's really nothing I can do to get great MPG's, I'll just get a DD for that. The purpose of my build was for fun and a good solid overall truck for hauling and towing. As of now I drive the truck on the highway to work but it'll be a little bit before I can get the gears.

Thanks guys, that's awesome your cutting times like that on those big tires! I was really starting to lean towards the 4.56's

i plan on goin to 4.30s with my truck. 3.08s in it right now so the difference should be huge. 3.73 to 4.30s might not really even be worth it. i think 4.56.

i have 3.73s in my blazer with 25.7 inch tires and it turns about the same rpm at 70. its alittle high but i like it. 3k at 80mph
