Default 4.56 or 4.11

1993 C1500 x-cab 350 auto 2800 stall. 275/60R15 tires. Got 3.54 now. Want to wake it up some!!!

You may want to try search as this topic has been addressed quite a bit, and recently too. This may be why people are not responding.

Those tires are small. Of the two, 4.10 would be better.

3.90, 4:10's or 56's are too much gear for that tire height IMO

thats a 28" tall tire!!!!!! 456 isnt **** honestly unless he wants 130+ mph pulls in a A4 in a T56 its perfect

I think 4.10's, those TBI motors just don't brerathe worth a crap and I think with the 4.56's it would run out of breath sooner than with 4.10's.

I love the 4.10s in my C10. Just enuff spin to get off the line quick, and still enuff to run 1320' mid-way in 3rd. As for MPG, before my trans went South, I was getting 19MPG... WITHOUT a functional lockup TCC.

Oh yea... makes things easier for burnouts. I have a problem with traction from a dig.

I have 456s with 275 55 20 its shitty. 13 mpg with 5.3...awful! get 390s or something.

I forgot to mention... I'M RUNNING 28" tires! Here's some math equations:

#1) 4.10 gears + 28" tires + 4300 lbs (running weight) + light foot = "NICE DD"

#2) "NICE DD" - TCC Lockup = 19 mpg (hwy)

Need I say more?
