Default 4.56 or 4.88?

Well, I'm considering a gear swap in my 91 again, I have 3.73's in it now since it use to be my DD but now I have the 04, it doesn't really matter now what gear I put in it. My question is which one would best suit the T56? I'm leaning towards the 4.88 but want some suggestions from some experts. Tire size is 26"

What is the first gear ratio of the 6-speed?

Theres an old assumption that if your first gear ratio x read end ratio equals 12 then its good for the track, but real world says something like 10 becouse your tires will let go and first is now useless.

First gear is 2.66. I'm coming up with 12.13 for 4.56's and 13 for 4.88's. First gear with the 3.73's feels kinda turdish, but it comes up to 10 when I do the math and 10.9 with 4.10s. I'm kinda torn now with what to do
