As did I, by recommendation of Richmond Gear's installation manual. Motive, Dana/Spicer and GM gears have a similar break in procedure.

Naturally, ya. The motor is revving higher at the same given speed. Excess wear on drivetrain parts now, invest in a good trans cooler.

yup, I gotta strengthen up the trans. I need to do the corvette servo and cooler. I really want to get vig2800 stall for it too. Not so much for the increased stall but for decreased 25lbs of rotational mass.

The pacesetter headers are looking really good now too

My Yukon is a Daily Driver, so don't wanna go too crazy with it...

What engine do you have? If its a 5.3, 4.10s or 4.30s would make a noticable improvement.

Im happy with the gears. I even bought some shorter tires. Went from 31.7" tall to 30.5"

It spins 2500rpms at 70mph.

This is all that matters, that you are happy with what you've modified. It's mostly a personal preference and an acknowledgment that changing the ring and pinion ratio is a compromise so as long as you're willing to give up one thing for another, you're golden.

You must have an auto trans, my NV3500 is at around 2800 RPM doing 75-80 MPH
