Default 4.8 Stall Recommendations

Been looking into a stall for my 05' 4.8 RCSB. Truck has 3.73's/eaton, CAI, Corsa, and a Wheatley tune. Truck is my DD but I won't be towing with it, but everyday driveability is my main concern.

Been looking into the Yank TT2600 but also been considering the TT3000 since it is a lowly 4.8 and a 3k stall would prolly only flash to 2600-2700 behind the smaller cubed 4.8?

Truck may see a Comp 212/218 low lift down the road, but def not anytime soon. With that said what stall speed would you guys recommend for a daily driven 4.8 truck? Any help or advice is appreciated.

i have the yank tt3k in mine and i love it, it does only stall to 2600, its not real loose, but drivability is awsome with it and you can tow with it!!!

Grumpy4.8.....did it flash to 2600 before or after your cam swap? I'm thinking the TT2600 may only flash to 2200-2300 behind a bolt-on 4.8?

I had the TT3000 in my 01 Sierra 4.8L with the Comp 216/220. It would flash to 3000 and brake stall around 2500-2600. I'd go with the TT3000, you will love it.

the best thing to do is call Dave @ yank and let him spec it out for you....he recommended something total different then what i thought...i was going to purchase the tt3000 and he recommended the tbss3600...

Yea I actually spoke w/ Dave today, Cool guy he surprised me w/ his recommendation as well. He spec'd a 3200 for the truck, which is way bigger than what I would have expected for a bolt-on 4.8. He said all there stalls are rated for a 6.0 truck so behind the 4.8 the 3200 would flash to about 2700-2800 and brake stall to around 2300-2400. Maybe I'm just too conservative when looking at this but a 3200 just seems too big for my application....
