Default 4.88 vs 4.56 1/4 mile only
I currently have a 4l60 powered truck and it engine peaks around 6400 and trails off around 6800 so shift points will be 7k. Truck will be on a 28 tire and the gear I知 thinking of using is either a 4.88 or 4.56. What do you guys think would be best?

Depending on the power level of the truck, you could run out of 3rd gear with those gears.

What kind of mph do you think you will trap at?
Base the gears off of that so you go through the traps at the top of 3rd

With 4.30 and 28 tire I trap 6000 rpm
Truck has low 400 rwhp

I知 not locking converter WOT down the 1320 either
