reg 4wd works but the transfer case will not do a thing when attempting to shift into 4low. The shift button flashes and nothing else.
2500hd with 4l80 of course.
The gear indicator also never shows the transmission being in neutral or park. If my memory serves that is not suppose to be that way.
Anyone have any idea on what could be wrong?

Sounds like the sender on the side of the trans is either not lined up right or inop. I would isolate that problem first since the transfer case will not shift unless the trans is in neutral.. and it may not know the trans is in neutral...

Thanks for the input. I will have my guy that swapped them check those out.

What do you do to check it?
My tech unplugged it and plugged it back in. I really dont want to buy a new one.
