40k trans cooler qeustion!

i ran mine in line with the stocker.

Never had a way to monitor temps but im still on the same 60e a year later and i drive it everyday. maybe im lucky lol

I have mine going through the factory cooler, for the exact reasons that Jarrod (1Bear) mentioned. It gets cold here in the winter, and if I bypassed the factory cooler my trans would probably never get up to operating temp in January or Feb around here

I consistently see between 150-160 on the factory trans temp gauge, all year round

I've ran mine both ways. With the radiator has been the best. When towing and the Texas summer heat . . . it didn't mix too well with it bypass'd

well i thought about it and heard what everyone said about the subject. I figured i could just bypass the radiator and see how it does. If it is to cold or not hot enough i could run it back in line with the radiator.
