The will affect your top speed, but as far as hurting your top-end pull, no. When I went from 3.42s to 3.90s, it helped mine out a bunch from idle to 100mph+.

What gears do you have right now?

I think you'll be real happy with the results! Now just throw a cam in there with a dyno-tune and you'll be

Default Love my 4.10s

I have 4.10s with a 5spd and i love it. It doesnt hurt top end, it actually helps. It just limits your TOP SPEED. Which is pointless unless youre settin a land speed record. Instead of maxing out at 130 you might only get to 120 when it redlines. It will just get there faster.

Usually mph will drop when you install lower gear, I went from 3.08's to 4.10's and lost 3-4 mph in the 1/4 mile, ET also dropped 3 tenth so it was worth it.

With a 28" tire I was trapping at 4800-4900 rpm in D with 4.10's. 4200 rpm gave me 122mph in OD with lots to go.
