With the billet shafts you just make that aluminum input drum the lone weak link. Even with the reinforcing collar it'll still break out the cone area or strip the splines. Another trans shop has made some billet steel input drums (not a sponsor, can't mention the name) and supposedly there hasn't been any failures during testing. They will probably be pretty pricey when released to the public though.
A 370 is pretty rough on stuff... I'd do a 80E swap. A T56 is a strong trans, but in these heavy trucks they can be prone to shaft failures. Hard on rear ends too... better upgrade to a stronger one.

Let me know if you need any advice. You can copy my drivetrain to a "T". Built 370, 500whp, STG 2 T-56, RAM PG HD, Built stock 10 bolt with 5.13's. Has gone 11.57 on motor. Haven't broken anything with a "few" 5k plus launches....

Thanks guys, I do appreciate the info. Yeah I have heard the T56 is really hard on the drive line. Figured a 14 bolt should hold it. I don't plan on putting any more than 550-600 through her.

Did everyone miss Scotts posts... they did have a point. No offense friend but how are you breaking (if i read correct) more than one 4l60e on a 4.8 truck with boltons???
