Im about to do my 4l80e swap soon. I need to know how im going to get the correct programming in for it. I will be taking it to Diablo Sport the same place that did my original tune, and they will put it on the dyno to tune it again but how do i get the 80e tune to get the truck there at least.

I talked to my guy who did my tuning there before he said he should be able to take care of loading the new program but i dont know if he knows waht I was talking about.

Well... I had local tuner load/flash the pcm with a 4l80e file so I could drive it about 40 miles to get it to his house where he tuned. No problems for me. But he went in and graphed/scaled the table so that the trans would shift somewhat right.

Where can i get that file so that maybe i can send it to him and he can come load it for me so that i can drive to the dyno.

HP tuners website. Others have the files as well. It is a bin file. Send it to your tuner and he can load it into hptuners and flash into your pcm. I believe it will over write your 60e file.

They use their own program but theirs is based off the popular programs, lsedit, hptuners, efilive, etc, so they have all the programs in house im sure.

I don't know if Diablo's Chipmaster revolution software will allow the 80e swap. HPt has only had the option publically avaliable for a few months or maybe a year. Cablebandit was one of the first to use hpt to swap in an 80e in a 60 app, but this was a beta release.
I'd call before I went as they may have to write it in the software.

So does someone have the bin file that they could send me then i could send it to my tuner at diablo to make sure he can find a way to load it?
