Default 4L60 Nightmare

Well ive had hell since day one with my transmission ever since it overheated. It is throwing two codes right now. P0748 & P0706. I can clear the codes on my truck and as soon as i start the truck back up the 748 pops back up. I just hooked my tow/haul button back up b/c the guy i had rebuild it cut the wire. Well how hard would it be to check and see if he left the pressure sensor unhooked inside of the transmission? and can i do it with out dropping the transmission?

Those two codes are not related codes and are both circuit electrical codes , I would suggest checking the wiring harness that its plugged in good and look that there are no wires exposed or pinched in the trans harness.

You should also check that the internal harness didnt get pinched between the case and the pan a common enough builder error.

Pull the pan and inspect over near the plug that the wires were not pinched between the pan and case
