This is great! This particular converter is what I'm going to go with but hearing this still helps. I have one question, has your 160k truck had any transmission work done? I'm at 150k and worried that after I install a converter the tranny might go south.. But I dont want to rebuild a transmission that doesn't need it.
I bought the truck new and have had routine interval fluid changes on the 4L60E. Other than the shift kit and servo no other major work was done to it. One thing the transmission shop recommended was to go with a big cooler which I did. My truck is a daily driver ONLY and it has been very dependable. You will like the converter. Enjoy!

Yeah, I am not sure why I didn't go with a converter earlier back then when the truck was new. Well at 160k miles everything stil appears to be working well. But again its a daily driver. Thanks, LOL, Yeah I will make a video when I get some serious mods.....

I'd like to do the servos and a shift kit now. Down the road I'd like to do cam, headers, 243's, on a 5.3 in a Yukon and I really don't want to do the 80 swap. Thanks for the tuning help!

friend had his stock 08 4l60e in his truck running 11.7s with a 4400 pi stall for a good 3-4 months before he swaped out for the 80 and was still working and he gave that tranny hell
