In 09 they all have the turbine sensor from what I have been told and have seen here at the shop. Just a little input. Vince
I never checked the truck I got it from to see if it was a 70e or 60e. but from what I've read there still pretty much the same thing. It came free with a motor i bought so if it blows up no big loss. The 09 valve body was biggest difference.

I snaped a picture of it for reference. theres no Pressure switch and that areas been all cleaned up. everything else looks the same.

How has it been running?

I have the same issue. I had just put it in hoping it was the same since I couldnt find any info on the 09 trans. Its in there now in stock form but wont come out of 2nd and it starts out in second. After rolling a bit itll kick down to first but wont hit third. My tuner had to turn of the DTC for the TFP and 3-2 that no longer exist on that trans. He could also make it shift manually, but the ECU wont do it on its own.

I'm glad I came across your thread here. Its very helpful with so little info out on it. I'll try finding an older style valve body to put under it and do what you did.

THANKS!

I figured I'd add some pics I have of the 2009 valve body in case it helps the next guy searching for help.

Gearhead you are going to have to change more than the valve body here. The manual linkage shaft, parking lock actuator assembly, internal wiring harness, separator plate and possibly the 1-2 accumulator housing depending on what model you have. These are a few that come to mind off the top of my head.

Thanks Vince B! I guess it looks like I'll be looking for another older trans. I'd hate to tear this one apart when it has such low miles on it.
