4l60e. 4l65e, or 4l80e???
I am considering a tranny hopefully sometime soon through FLP. I am lookin a a 6.0 with a radix, yank 3k, and 4:10's. I am afraid that a 4l80e will take to much power to run. The 4l60e might not be strong enough?? I am leaning towards the 4l65e. What do you all think, pros and cons???

With a 6.0 and a Radix setup,I wouldn't consider anything less than a 4L80E.I know that there are a lot claims about how strong 4L65Es are,but I've personally destroyed three low gear 5 pinion planetarys and one 5 pinion high gear planetary.Even under warranty it a royal pain to change transmissions that many times,go with the 4L80E.

Speed engineering has the cheapist 4L80E package I've seen.I'm sure it's not nearly as strong as FLPs transmission, the price of their package is cheaper than a FLP 4L60E.
