The forward clutch release??? That spring cage is supposed to be held in with a snap ring.

Or is one of those tiny springs in the 3/4 clutch apply ring???

according to the manual is it this ???
#694 LOW AND REVERSE CLUTCH SPRING ASSEMBLY

Or did they fall out of
#678 LOW AND REVERSE ROLLER CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

Unless your talking about the little apply springs from the side of the case. Which get tossed any way.

If a spring fell out of it, I would replace the unit.
