I am planning to rebuild my 4l60E and have the majority of the parts posted above (post #6), but am debating on upgrading to the 5 pinion planetaries. Does anyone know, if I go with OEM 5 pinion planetaries from a 4l65 instead of the ACDELCO ones do I still need to replace the reaction carrier?
Also, I'm not planning on putting more than 500HP through it...is it worth the upgrade to the 5 pinions? Same question for the $400+ billet output shaft.
