Ive got a 99 nbs rcsb Z71 . im looking to replace the TB converter that is on there now. its starting to not want to lockup anymore. i wanna replace it with something similar but better built. it stalls to about 2500 right now. ive seen yanks 2600!truck thruster, and circle D's. anybody got any ideas on these or other brands? its not a DD, i rarely drive it but want something streetable and am able to tow a small trailer with. thanks

Circle d 3200 is able to tow to about 6,000lbs. Great street manners. You won't even notice it there under 95% of ss conditions. When you got wot it will give you all the performance you desire.

I've pulled 9.5k on a 3600 Circle-D without issue. Although I wouldn't recommend trying it on a 60E though!

Sounds miserable. I had 5k behind my PT3600, terrible.

It's actually not bad at all considering I kept it locked up above 15mph. There was some chugging on inclines below 25 but nothing terrible. It was a bit throttle happy off the line though.

Ehhh I have the Yank TT 3000 and it works but I would never buy another single disk for a full weight truck DD esp if you tow at all. To me, its a ~300/400 dollar mistake to buy the "cheaper" single disk. Buy it once and buy a good one. There is more differences in the 500 dollar converters to the 900 dollar then the single vs triple/multi.

my opinion
decent power Race trucks or weekend warriors = Single
DD that trailer or High hp ( 600 wheel + ) = Multidisk

Our 278mm HP Series option sounds like a great match for you. We have them in the 2600-2800 and 3000-3200 range. Towing a light trailer will be no problem, but we do suggest adding a big cooler to keep the temps in check. Our 278mm has several upgrades over the OE converter - 2 most important being the rear bearing retainer and HD clutch lining. Be happy to help, just let us know.

I'll vouch for this one (as other people will). I DD mine and do beat on it occasionally but it locks up nice and is a little loose.
