4l60e deep trans pan

is it nesisary to get a filter extention with a deep trans pan ? some pans come with them and some dont. should i look for one that comes with the extention ?

If you're going with a factory deep pan, you can use the factory deep filter, if an aftermarket deep pan, you'll want to get one with an extension
