So kinda new here been on here lurking for a while.

Anyways , have a bolt on 4.8 toasted up a bone stock 60e at 180k which was real good if ya ask me, since 140 k it's been tuned slowly adding mods .

So got a rebuild, all upgraded hard parts I almost copied rpm transmissions stage 1 or stage 2 I can't remember, so hard parts should be pretty well built, got it put in got a 3700 nitrous stall , I broke the pump on the first install so I redid the pump veins and slapped everything back together . Ran great for about a month, just cruising around never ran further than 15-20 miles away or 30 minutes at a time and under 500 miles total and lost drive, I only have 1-2 manually and reverse . When it broke I took off pretty normal maybe 40-50% throttle and at 1-2 shift it just let go like I put it into nuetral....idk but I just have a feeling I burned it up or lost a solenoid , reason behind that is because I didn't even have time to order my trucool in that 3-4 weeks and was really babying it for that reason so I think it got hot. Let me know if anyone has a solution to what happened . Or if it's happened to someone before . Thanks in advance

 

Sounds like the forward sprag is gone

 

So something dumb and simple ? So do u think that was heat related ? If so I'll buy the trucool trans cooler right now
