4L60E rated @ 795hp with 2 year warranty ???
Saw this on Ebay, and couldn't believe somebody was rating a 4L60E to hold 795hp ....then, offer a 2 year unlimited mile warranty
He's here in MD, so if there were any problems I could "address" them fairly easily, but how could someone not be at least a little leary???

I actually emailed him about a week ago, and ask about the "no tailshaft included" thing....so that they don't ask for a core. He said if I was gonna pick it up so he didn't have to pay shipping he would include the tailshaft and it would be ready to bolt in my truck. He assured me it would hold 500 rwhp with NO PROBLEM even in my 4880lb truck. It sure looks like they use good parts, and it even comes with a deep aluminum pan. $1600 picked up sure sounds good, but like I said, how can I not be leary?? Everyone knows about the woes of the 4L60E, yet this guy doesn't seem phased by them. We'll see, I may just have to go ahead and do something. I really like the idea of not having to give mine up as a core, especially since it is still working fine....for now.

dont sound like a bad deal. seems like the guy is just tryin to move his transmission and tryin to be resonable about it. i just had pretty much the same trans built for my truck and it cost me 1600 bucks all the same stuff that guy is sayin he dose. i just got done puttin it in about an hour ago and im very impressed with it. sounds like a good deal to me

It looks like they use non-gm 5 pinion planets. I can say from experience they tend to break and your are better off with stock 4 pinion than non-oem 5's. The sprag may be rebuilt and I've never seen a .590 boost valve fit into a 4l60e pump. (U might can do it, I've just never seen it done or imagine what lengths it takes to fit.) I think the 13 vane pump is stock unless it is billet. (according to year) The steel pump rings are transgo as well as the shift kit most everyone else uses.
The parts are hardened and not cryo'd. The input shaft may be the old torque drive setup that alot of guy's had sealing problems with.
The beast sun shell is a $30'ish part that is cheap insurance most builders use. They also have a pic of a sonnax servo but use fairbanks.
They're not building them to get rich. It may be a good deal, but I wouldn't compare them to some of the top builders in the nation.
I'd get a written warranty and details of what they'll cover.
