The power pack is junk..they have thin steels thin pressure plate and thin snap ring...with any good amount of heat there going too cone..but hey let him use it lol he will live n learn..goodluck on the build any questions feel free to msg me

Yeah I've read some folks say that and others like it. This won't make frequent 3-2 & 2-3 shifts...mostly a street tow rig so I think he'll be okay. We didn't have to change pressure plate or apply plate but you're right, the steels were 10k thinner @ 70 I think. It came with all 70k steels and two 80k steels so you could mix and match. But yeah man thanks for the offer I may message you and ask you a couple more questions if we get hung up on anything else. We're probably half way through it now I'd say. Just put the Sonnax smart shell and the front planet set in it last night and that super hard to work with output shaft snap ring lol

Actually the thinner steels are .060..and yeah man hit me up with whatever yall need
