im ***** deep in my swap too. just got done building my first 80, im a little nervous. as far as the swap all you need is on this site and these guys here are the best. BTW is this your daily?

Yea its my daily but i really dont drive maybe 10 miles a day if that.. And im looking into buy a new truck within the next few months so it prob will not be driven much

ha i wish i had something smaller but fortunately i only drive maybe 15 miles a day so its not bad at all...
But i decided to just get the 60 rebuilt found a guy who offered a 3 year 36,000 warranty to i went with it plus he builds all the high performance mud trucks transmissions.. hes gonna put a 5 planetary gear in it and beef it up so im hoping i made a good decision..

Good luck.
Although the problem is that the 60E in a truck instead of a Corvette was a terrible decision from the get go. I have NEVER seen a 60E built to last when being beat on in a truck, they just don't have the clutch surface area or the apply pressure to be in a stock truck, let alone a modified one.
