Default 4L60E Weight

Anyone know how much a 4L60E weighs, with or without fluid? The converter is bolted to the flexplate correct?

I'm trying to determine if I can manhandle the tranny out from underneath on my back without a jack. I've done it with a T56 in the Z28, but I feel like the auto is going to be much heavier.

I've got one sitting on the floor of the shop with no bell housing, no fluid, and no converter. There's NO WAY I'd try and put one in without a jack. And I'm a big dude at 6'4" 245lbs.

EDIT::
159-176 lbs transmission weight filled
260 lbs transmission weight filled

(174 dry i wanna say??
80E is 225 dry and an allison is 356 or 365... or atleast close to that. )

its possible, but not by yourself, asking for a accident. then if the TC comes off and lands on you, thats goin to hurt too

What is the torque converter attached to? Will it come off with the trans or will it stay on the engine? (I've never messed with an auto or converter before).

You put the converter on the trans input shaft then put it on the engine. It can come off the shaft if your not careful. Make sure the converter gets seated correctly before you bolt it up or youll be into a new pump

A T56 is going in so I won't need to worry about that
